Hi! I’m Ana, a communicator, marketer, writer, and story-obsessed creative living and working between Lisbon and Cartaxo. With roots in Portugal and Brazil, fluent in Portuguese, English, Italian, and Spanish, and a deep love for language, I see the world as a layered narrative waiting to be explored.
I hold a BA in Languages, Literature and Culture with a Major in English Studies (which included a study abroad at the University of Leeds) and I'm pursuing a Master's in Communication, Marketing & Advertising. Professionally, I work in branding, storytelling, and strategy, with experience across borders, including at the United Nations. From shaping brand identities to building audience engagement, I’m all about stories that resonate.
Here on Medium, I write about what moves me: literature that lingers, history that teaches, culture that connects, and mostly people and what lies beneath. It’s my creative outlet, a space to think out loud, slowly and meaningfully.
A few fun facts? I have a quote from The Divine Comedy tattooed on my arm. I just found out two branches of my family never left a tiny region in Portugal’s Serra da Estrela. And while I live globally, I write locally, with care, curiosity, and a voice that’s fully my own.
I don’t write to fill space, I write to say something. Thanks for being here.
